Casino Casino? Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $16.00 Overall Rating: Most in this park are long term stays in Motorhomes or 5th Wheels. My daily rate is based on a 3 month stay. Like most parks, the longer you stay, the less per night cost! Park is very clean. Camp sites are concrete pads and patios.

Camp sites are wide and will accommodate a 40' RV. All are back-in sites. There are some permanent, park models in the park, but most sites are available for RV's. A common space is available for meetings, gatherings for games, a tennis table and pool table are located there as well. A small, workout room with a treadmill, an elliptical machine and a stationary, cable weight machine is available there too. A large screen TV is located in the workout room. A small kitchen and refrigerator is also available for use in the common room.

The park is gated and requires a code to enter. A garage door opener is available at a fee of $50 which is returned when the opener is returned to the office. Camp sites have FHU, water, 50/30A service and cable (which is contracted through Cox Cable, not the park). Not aware of free WiFi because I have Cox data and video during my stay here for the three months of Jan thru Mar of 2017. OTA TV is easily available with your RV antenna. There are many restaurants and other eateries, grocery and department store shopping and theaters close.

Close to Phoenix via highways. A trolley system is available with access from Mesa to all venues downtown Phoenix. Finally, there is a small, heated pool and a hot tub. Penny is the Office Manager and is very pleasant. She will accommodate you as much as possible. Overall, a very nice, long-term stay park or for a few nights.

A hidden gem among all of the RV parks located in the Mesa area!!!! We camped at Desert Vista RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Value Clean Restrooms Service Clean Showers Cleanliness. Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $40.00 Overall Rating: We have been four month winter visitors at Desert Vista for two years and plan to make it our winter destination in the future. The smaller atmosphere of the park is perfect for us. It is intimate and friendly with lots to do if you wish. The grounds are well kept, the pool and hot tub are very nice, and the clubhouse is large enough for special events. The management is concerned about your wants and needs and tries very hard to accommodate.

We have recommend Desert Vista to several of our friends. It is most reasonably priced and in a good area for shopping.

We camped at Desert Vista RV Resort (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer. Value Clean Restrooms Service Clean Showers Cleanliness. Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $28.00 Overall Rating: Spaces are larger than most in Mesa. You park on a concrete pad. Park is well kept. Our concerns centered around the park rules. Most rules are ignored by full time residents (about 25% of total spots), thus the others also seem to ignore the rules as well.

Examples: walking through occupied spots, no more than 2 (small/medium) dogs per camp site, no bird feeders (other than hummingbird). We saw a full timer with 4 dogs, we saw an Alaskan Malamute (small dog?), the office has bird feeders (thus bird poop on our cars parked under the tree). The parable of the pipeline pdf.

The pool access is another area of concern. To save money on propane the (supposedly heated) pool is now only open when the air temp is above 72 and then only during the hours of Noon to 5:00 PM. Some days we saw the pool open late at night, other days, it was too cold to use. The hot tub was nice. If this park gets a management team that will follow/enforce the rules, this would be a nice park.

Park was working on setting up security cameras as there was some theft recently in the park. This park caters primarily to full time/long term residents.

There are a few planned/scheduled activities. The clubhouse has free WiFi.

Tengo WiFi is available for purchase. Would recommend not to use Tengo at this park. We paid for Tengo but ended up going to the clubhouse with a laptop everyday due to slow Tengo speed. Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $20.00 Overall Rating: Nice small quiet park with very few amenities. We are staying for five months and had to pay in full up front and now I know why.

We love swimming and we received an e-mail stating the pool will be open from noon till five PM only when the temperature is 72 or above for the day. We went to the pool yesterday on 11-10-15 and found they dropped the pool temp, which is now cold. Also, they have a small rec room with a pool table which is covered by plywood and junk on top. We will not return. There are a lot of parks in Mesa, so look around before staying here. We camped at Desert Vista RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Value Clean Restrooms Service Clean Showers Cleanliness. Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $19.00 Overall Rating: This is the first time I have ever rated a park a 10. Don't know what the previous person thought about not being pet friendly, but I thought it was very pet friendly. We don't travel with a pet but most of the people in the park did have them and unless you did not follow the rules about letting you pet run lose or didn't pick up after them you won't have a problem.VERY CLEAN and the people are some of the most friendly people you will meet anywhere.

Would extend our stay, but there is no room. We will be back, as this is one of the best parks we have ever stayed in. We camped at Desert Vista RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome. Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $28.00 Overall Rating: Very nice smaller park with friendly management and staff. No showers but toilet facilities are very clean. Nice pool area, and nice wide sites which are all back-in. Clean laundry facilities.

Pet walk area is all stones and quite large, but if it rains it does get flooded. Fortunately, it does not rain very often. Good central location for Mesa. If you do not like the 1,000+ space RV parks in Mesa, this is the place for you. If you want to spend the winter here, make your reservations early, because most people return year after year.

We would stay here again. We camped at Desert Vista RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $35.00 Overall Rating: As the other reviews have stated, this is a neat, well maintained small park. However, it is not pet friendly! You are expected to walk your dog down the center of the street until you get to the dog park which is a water holding pond and is sometimes full of water. If a fellow RV'er sees your dog wetting on the gravel on the way to the park, they are likely to contact the manager and you will receive an email telling you to cease and desist. A second occurrence could be cause for removal from the park. Also the park has a 5 MPH speed limit which is enforced by the onsite manager. The limit applies to you, but not to UPS or Fedex.

There are no showers in the clubhouse, but the bathrooms are really neat and clean. We camped at Desert Vista RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome. Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $30.00 Overall Rating: This is a park model park that didn't make it. So it caters to more RV's then park model sales. The parking pads are higher than the street with a dip added for water drainage. If you are parking or leaving the site make sure it's at an angle. We saw a new Marquis high centered here!

There are no showers at this park, but the pool and hot tub are well maintained. The Wi-Fi is TengoInternet and costs money.

The rules are three pages long but so far no problem. All the sites are clean but need more vegetation for privacy. Cable TV is stated as an amenity, but is not included in the price. We paid $387 for a month plus 12 cents per kilowatt for electricity.

The staff was very professional and helpful. We would probably stay here again. We camped at Desert Vista RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
